Yes, right… words can bring sometimes so much confusion and misunderstanding… and I learned recently that the French are using in slang English words of body parts to be polite. 🙂 You have so many beautiful castles in your area and along the Loire valley. Have a beautiful week, Melanie. 🙂
we say in French: on en apprend tous les jours… = we learn something new(unknown) every day… 🙂 btw, I’m a language teacher and a free lancer for North-American newspapers, so words are my hobby and my real playground area… 🙂 The castles of Midi-Pyrénées region are older than the ones of the Loire valley(about 600kms away from here) that I visited several years ago… if you are interested and if you have some spare time, here are 2 “jewels” of my région – Cité de Carcassonne & Rocamadour:
