sky on earth – enlarged and remote shapes… world of light where dreams, escape, power, mystery, freedom seem to be possible… white or tinged clouds and depth of time where abyssal colors mix up with the song of whales and the laughter of dolphins… I open the windows to the endless azure, where a hurricane of emotions dance within my heart… a soft breeze inspires me with love and inner peace, my daily oxygen that fulfils my nights… it also warms up our bodies while our senses are on alert with the promise of our regained paradise, but never lost… I’m the beach of your ocean whose tides invade my soul from dawn to dusk… the salty foam covers me up and we eventually turn into a volcanic islet… 🙂

  1. Always enjoy my visits to your site Melanie, great visuals and appropriate accompanying words, I enjoy the various rock formations and especially those that are shaped by winds and waves, to imagine the time it has taken to create these marvels is unbelievable. Regards, Ian

  2. So now I have ‘discovered’ Cabrel for which I must thank you! 🙂 Your pictures and words are always worth stopping by for for which I thank you, too! 🙂

  7. Stunning picture gallery, Mélanie. The ocean looks so blue. You seem very at home there on the rocks. 🙂 I enjoyed Francis Cabrel, even though I couldn’t understand the words, a Frenchman singing is always sooo nice to listen to.

  8. Ioi, ioi, ioi!

  10. Superbe imagini, ne încânți privirile! 🙂

  11. The aqua color of the water is beautiful. Take care walking on those rocks.

  12. Love Cabrel, aussi! Can’t see the slideshow at the moment, but your words paint a lovely picture.

  13. Beautiful windows of blue, and it’s a good song to hum.

    • I love Cabrel’s songs and his ‘Midi accent’… ❤ he's a great composer and singer, he lives in the neighboring county, in the countryside, like me! 🙂

  14. Afternoon from Oz, Melanie! 🙂

I love these photos and what you just wrote! Hope you’re having a great day. 🙂 Hugs, Paula xxx

  15. I love the sense of throwing open the windows on the endless blue, Melanie. The Cabrel quote is intriguing, too; not as straight forward as it seems perhaps.

    • Bonjour Tish! this post has been inspired by Cabrel’s song: I listened to it in my car yesterday and I’ve hummed it again this mornin’… voilà! 🙂 thanx for stopping by and have an azure day like here!
