my thoughts flutter like butterflies between 2 seasons that follow each other among flying leaves… dawn and nightfall, sunrise and sunset, wind and chilliness foreshadow the Indian summer is over… my flowers keep their royal dignity like Chinese vases whose beauty is everlasting… their sweet fragrance fills up my heart, snatching me a teardrop as they’ll fade out soon… but they’ve offered me their dreams, warm-hearted memories, intense atmosphere… I don’t believe in fate, but in moments of sharing, of generosity, of tenderness, of love, of peace, joy, freedom… let’s sip their last honey nectar in a diamond chalice: cheers! 🙂

  1. Beautiful words Melanie. Thanks for spreading your joy! 🙂

  2. You look terrific in that red sweater, Mélanie.

  3. Interesanta planta aceea cu frunzele palmate!

  5. The changing of the seasons, occuring in the twinkling of an eye of the creator of our great Earth, yet in that briefest of moments, we are given an insight into the creative beauty of The Great Architect of the Universe. Ian

  6. Beautiful flowers! And – just like that – one season ends & another begins… {Abrazos}

  8. What light we may shed as we flutter by.

  10. Dear friend, these pix are very beautiful.

  11. I like the transition in the slide show from the green pair to the yellow pair. The way it gets rendered is kind of neat. Great pictures (as always).

  12. ‘Leaves run with the wind, trying to get to where birds fly…’ – I love that, Melanie. 🙂

  13. Thoughts fluttering like butterflies! 🙂 Mine too. And they always seem to flutter away before I can catch them. I think of a good blog idea in the middle of the night and the next morning… gone.

  14. Beautiful words, lovely photos … the seasons change but the change itself is breathtaking n’est pas?

  18. “Automne, rouille et or…
    Parfois, ton soleil brille encore…
