after the unforgettable and the vast Hawaiian Pacific, yesterday I found again our local sea just 1h 1/2-drive from my pink brick city… 🙂 these are 2 tiny marina harbors that sparkle in the sun… here’s the wet beach where peaceful waves break free and where you like to rest after a short night… along the large stone pier, I listen to the soft wind playing its violin, humming words of love… I’m on the edge of the poets’ realm – an eternal maze between Europe, Africa, and Asia, an azure mirror, a background for the ageless Odyssey – as deep and beautiful on a calm day or during a storm… each time I watch you, my heart melts up, you smile at me with a wink and you cuddle my face with your salty droplets… you always look forward to reaching your islands and lovely islets: please greet Corsica, Sicily and Malta for me, dear timeless Mediterranean Lady… see you soon, my “big blue sea”! ❤

  1. J’entends la plage me faire signe! 😉

  2. Love the beautiful blue waters in your pictures Melanie. Your whole world is a paradise, the great vistas, changing scenery, all different and give an impression of a world of holidays.

  3. Gorgeous views, Mélanie. Imagine being up there in that flying machine! It must feel really amazing. Beautiful selection of boats too. I could take any one of them. 🙂 xxx

  4. The places in your pictures look so calm, serene, and beautiful. It is so lovely to be near and on the water! 🙂

  5. Always nice to travel with you on the WP! 😉

  8. I still remember the very first time I saw the Mediterranean – it was Corfu in the early 1980s and until that moment I thought that an azure sea was just make-believe. I shall never grow tired of her… beauteous ocean that she is.

  9. Cool beach houses! I love the parasailing shot, is that you? And the sailing ones too. I am taking sailing lessons next month. 😀

  11. Your local sea views are fantastic and you look to be very well, enjoying the scenery too… Many thanks for sharing your photos. Have a beautiful week! Hugs, Sue
