before the total eclipse of the sun, but not of the heart – as Bonnie Tyler would sing, it’s rainin’ flowers all over my village… 🙂

“Flowers are screams of all colors and while still alive, they rush into us and leave us their color and their innocence. Watching them, leads us to the perfect life. Happiness is the art of making a bouquet with the flowers that are within our reach. Their scents are words of another world. Flowers are the first raindrops of eternity…”(Christian Bobin)

  2. Your pics are a pleasure to see, you capture the colors and beauty of such an array of flowers, a truly delightful visit.

  3. A paradise of flowers, a kind of place I usually just see in dreams. Thanks, Mélanie! 🙂

  4. Merci pour cette magnifique pluie florale Mélanie! Bonne fin de ce jour!

  5. Oh my, how lovely Melanie. Thank you for the bouquets of spring. Leslie

  6. Crions, tous les pétales offerts au printemps!

  8. Never thought of flowers in terms of “their innocence,” but after reading the Bobin quote, how could I dismiss the thought? And unlike with humans, innocence remains as they grow and does not become a mixed blessing.

  9. As long as it’s a simple bouquet, I am fine… would love to learn some flower arranging techniques. Hooray… it’s spring!

  10. What beautiful flowers you have within your reach. 🙂

  11. “Flowers are the first raindrops of eternity…”(Christian Bobin) That is almost as beautiful as the photos. 🙂

  13. Lucky you, Melanie. You are way ahead of us in Haute Savoie. Enjoy the spring flowers!

    • yes, indeed, Mel, but guess what: last year, all these flowers were already there before the end of February! I do like Haute-Savoie – in the summer… 🙂
