N.B. in French “une pensée” means ‘thought’ & ‘pansy’… so, pansies(thoughts) are 5-petal flowers that sometimes grow inside our mind and I strongly believe that most of them do have a soul… 🙂

my thoughts of today have 5 velvet petals… I like the sweet and violent mystery of LOVE… she waits for him, he shows up, they both know that random doesn’t exist – only a few coincidences, already conceived and prepared in advance… Sting used to sing “if you love somebody, set them free…” – if we really love someone with all our being, our thoughts alone belong to us, but we need to be and to stay FREE… never try to restrain the beloved ones at any cost and by any means, because they’ll leave for good… 🙂

btw, would admit that you’ve been living with your perfect half?… is your “half” THE one you’ve looked for your whole life?… have you eventually found your true “soul mate”? do you really find yourselves within your partner?… and if you are among those who will have lived THE absolute and unconditional love, how and why do you know that it’s “the only one”?… is this mutual attraction or chemistry or simply no reason?!… well, my possible “survival kit” would be: my beloved one, a few books, a glass of red Bordeaux wine or a flute of champagne and a tiny spot among my pansies – pure joy, now and in the near future… 🙂

  1. And let us not forget that although pansies are considered annuals, they have a strength and propensity to withstand some winter elements and rebloom again in spring/summer. xo

  2. Lots of pretty thoughts to ponder.

  3. très beau diaporama, vive le printemps! ♥

  4. Just a glass 😉 ? Beautiful pensamientos (yours and the flowers) my favorite are the ones of yellow sun and violet velvet.

    * * *
    Am tresărit la auzul veştii despre accidentul aviatic. Este o tragedie care ne marchează şi pe noi cei din afara graniţeor Franţei şi îmi imaginez suferinţa familiilor, dar şi a francezilor în general, fapt pentru care îmi exprin întreaga compasiune. Imi pare rău… nespus de rău.

    • am ales aceste floricele pen’ca mi-a placut sensu’ dublu al cuvântului francez: panseluta si gând… ai dreptate despre drumuri, poteci, cai, (auto)strazi, etc… DAR noi suntem cei care alegem si decidem destinatia…
      * * *
      ref la tragedia umana de ieri… un soc general, inclusiv pentru mine, caci locuiesc în “Airbus City” si-am zburat cu “Germanwings”(filiala-Lufthansa) de câteva ori… nu se cunosc cauzele, iar printre victime(RIP) nu se afla cetateni francezi… c’est la vie et la mort… ceea ce nu ma va împiedica sa “zbor”, caci avionu’ ramâne cel mai sigur mijloc de transport.

I remember him with a dark passionflower in his hand, looking at is as no one ever looked at such a flower, though they might look from the twilight of day until the twilight of night, for a whole life long”.

  12. To your “survival kit,” I would add to “beloved one” an “s” – to include parents, children (if any) and anyone else with whom one has had a deep and loving bond. 🙂

    • I do understand your point, Mister Muse, but in French “mon amoureux” = my beloved one and he’ll always come first… otherwise, I would’ve used the plural:”mes êtres chers ou aimés” = my dear and beloved ones”… 🙂

  13. Ce frumos! Dragoste, flori si ganduri… 🙂

  14. I found a blog called Twin flames Revolt, and often these questions arise there… Have you heard the saying – if I had a flower for every time I thought of you, I could walk in my garden forever…

  15. Little velvet lions are pansies 🙂 I remember being on holiday in Devon many years ago with my then boyfriend, now one of my best friends (I thought he was the one then, of course but we would both admit now that it was joyous folie) and we took so many pictures of pansies… he still often sends one of those pictures as my birthday card! As to my love… my one true love as I am convinced he is… it is like our cloak of invisibility when we are together – nothing can harm us – we are strong as one! 🙂

  16. Pansies were one of my mom’s favourites. Lovely shots! 🙂
