motto:”Color is my daily obsession, my joy and my torment. Besides painting and gardening, I’m good at nothing.”(Claude Monet)

The gardens are magnificent and impressive by their bright colors and intoxicating scents. Lush greenery to spend moments of joy, serenity, fullness – throughout the year. A true haven of peace that exudes a quiet atmosphere of poetry, romance and mildness – this is an absolutely magical, sublime, gorgeous spot that invites us to contemplation. We are right in the middle of Monet’s paintings, we sense his shadow around, we figure out the painter’s inspiration, surrounded by so much beauty – visible in each corner of the gardens: we feel like taking pictures of everything… 🙂

  13. Superbes couleurs!

  15. Beautiful shot Melanie, I love the pop of purple. And to think poor Monet was only good at painting and gardening… how could there be room for any more talent in one man?! 🙂

  16. Exquisite. Lucky to have a stream like that in the garden. So when it came to drawing water, you would find Monet at the bank?

  17. Hmmm… the eucalypts may be gorgeous, but my Monet is on Giverny. 😉
