Alpine stroll between raw green and June snow…:-)

last weekend @ Parc National de la Vanoise, Savoie, France – the Beautiful… 🙂 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vanoise_National_Park

here’s a young couple who loves the Alps with their sky, simply “tired” of being azure-blue, so it lies down at their feet… silence reigns all over and it’s deeper than elsewhere, both imagination and thoughts break free… words shut up in front of the beauty emerging everywhere, 2 hearts melt up like the snow of this late June within a fantastic scenery that inspires joy of living… 🙂 P.S. I also love the Alps, but I’m happy with “my” nearby and quaint Pyrénées where I can go any time… 🙂

  1. Such a gorgeous collection of photos! It brings back memories of our time in Chamonix!

  2. The scenery, your photos and words certainly inspire “joie de vivre”, which sounds so much better in French than it does in English 🙂 A joyful summer to you, Melanie 🙂

    • exactement, Mélissa: some words or French expressions translated into another language can’t deeply and fully express the very meaning or spririt of the language… 🙂 speakin’ of “joie de vivre”, I’m not living in a ‘teddybear land'(sic!), but I refuse and I avoid to complain about life, as it’s boring, vain and useless. I’ve chosen to be cheerful, positive, optimistic – as I mentioned @ https://myvirtualplayground.wordpress.com/about/

thanx and my very best to you, as well… 🙂

  3. The Alps just dazzle – they were the highlight of several of our trips to Europe. I have to admit, thought, that I am quite addicted to the Smokey Mountains.

  4. Beautiful, complete with a curious marmot. Makes me want to head back to the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California. –Curt

  5. Your weekends are truly spectacular! I love those landscapes but in the winter right now the landscape is yellow. Gracias Melanita, tomas vistas increíbles con tu cámara! 🙂

  6. Melanie, this post is dazzling with natural beauty! Incredibly beautiful.

    • Nature’s perfect, overwhelming and eternal beauty, Sir… 🙂 if you like mountains and if you have some spare minutes, you’ll find other pix from the French Alps and the French-Catalan Pyrénées over here.

  7. Gorgeous views of Alps!

  9. Cappy, were you happy to meet some of your 4 legged cappy relatives?
