Farewell to January – the month of my b’day… 🙂

motto:”Oh, bright morning, youth of the days… my heart is a palace full of floating scents that sometimes fall asleep within the folds of my memory…”(Anna de Noailles)

speaking of “age”, I changed my ‘zip'(‘area’) code in Venezia 2 weeks ago, but no facelift, no botox, no silicone… 🙂 we all get older every day, hence me too, but I have no problem with years and time passing by, as long as I’m healthy and in good shape… btw, our spirit has no birth certificate, it stays YOUNG, and each year brings us maturity, wisdom and kinda serenity, since we’ve learned to control our instincts, and to live better with our inner “self”… we’ve eventually figured out that rehashing our past is always and completely useless, therefore, the present tense alone matters… I look life in the face, I move toward the near future, I breathe, I let go and I simply live! 🙂

  12. As we say goodbye to January, it is always with a smile for me because her last day is the birthday of my eldest baby… she’s sunning in Antigua with her husband today but I still reach out across the sea to wish her everything I ever wish for her.. content, content, content! 🙂 I love this, of course – but I always love your work!

  13. “I look life in the face, I move toward the near future, I breathe, I let go and I simply live!” Bravo!

  15. La multi ani! Va doresc multa sanatate si speranta unor ani frumosi si fericiti pe care sa-i întâmpinati mereu zâmbind!

  16. Bamboos are pretty, but soon they keep springing from the ground everywhere and unless you want a bamboo forest, you need to keep an eye on them and cut the young shoots from the ground! 🙂

    • thanx, Ina, I already knew, of course, but our European bamboos are quite different from the Oriental ones, and we’ll never have a bamboo grove in our back yard… 🙂
