just like in our daily life, we must think BEFORE we make any move or any decision, ’cause:”Life is like a game of chess: to win, you have to make a move, knowing which move to make comes with in-sight and knowledge, and by learning the lessons we’ve accumulated along the way. Thus, we become each and every piece within the game called LIFE.”(Allan Ruffus)

  1. Love that over sized Chess set Melanie, and also the analogy to life that you used.

  2. We can usually see the first move, Melanie, seeing its future results is the real challenge. At least, it seems that way to me. How often do we take an action without thinking through the implications of our action? Chess is certainly a game that teaches the value of “looking before you leap.” –Curt

  3. Isn’t that the truth, Melanie? Life is like a game of chess.

  4. I love those big chess-boards… they’re fun! 🙂
