wandering soul – âme nomade…

“Things are so hard to figure out when you live from day to day in this feverish and silly world. Maybe that’s what life is… a wink of the eye and winking stars. I will die, and you will die, and we all will die, and even the stars will fade out one after another in time. What’s heaven? What’s earth? All is in our mind. Live, travel, adventure, and don’t be sorry. There’s nowhere to go but everywhere, so just keep on rolling under the stars. Our lifetime is a gate, a way, a path to Paradise anyhow, so, why not live for love, joy and fun…”(Jack Kerouac)

  1. Those words and pictures really show just how insignificant our existence is in the overall scheme of things, insignificant yet a vital part of the flow of the Universe. Kind regards.

  2. There’s a reason why I always liked Kerouac! –Curt

    • same here, Curt, I love all his writings, haikus included… you may know his real name was Jean-Louis nicknamed “Ti-Jean”, Jack in English, as his parents were from Québec, Canada, originally from Bretagne, France; his papa used to remind him:”Ti-Jean, n’oublie jamais que tu es breton! = never forget you’re a Breton!” 🙂

  3. beautiful and wonderful advice!! and I like Kerouac! Roll on under the stars!

  4. Sounds like a description of your life! Where do you plan to go next? My husband is having a wonderful time using power point to make an album about our trip to your part of the world. It is such fun to look at the photos and read from my son’s humorous diary of the trip.

    Leslie

  7. Excellent advice Melanie… Keep following the stars and flying among them… 🙂 life is for Living and LOVING… xxx
