(of) life choices, etc…:-)

motto:“Growth and change are painful. But nothing is as painful as staying stuck somewhere you don’t belong.”(Mandy Hale)

BUT we don’t have to remain ‘stuck’ since we can choose to take action today, here and now, to move ourselves ahead towards our goals… we do need to know what we do NOT want any more in our life, then, check out and discern what stops us from moving on and ahead… let’s take the next step to get ‘there’ and decide to improve our life – even when we’re NOT ‘stuck’, as, once we start moving, we’ll feel unbelievably better… why? – because the power of motion is both awesome and essential… 🙂

N.B. I’ve chosen the ethereal artwork of the pop artist Stella Im Hultberg(Korean-born American) for she creates surreal portraits that stately explore the concept of identity and of life choices… btw, one of the her exhibits was entitled:”memento mori!” = remember you’ll die! – and I may add:”carpe diem et gaudeamus igitur!” = enjoy this very day and therefore, let’s rejoice in it! 🙂

  1. Love the thoughts and the art. Thanks!

  2. I don’t know… the idea that change has to be difficult or painful is a mindset that only makes change even more difficult. We stay flexible, and receptive to change — if we choose. But wanting to do so is not something that can be successfully pretended.

  3. I have never seen the work of this artist before. I love her style. Thanks Melanie, have a great day! Leslie

  4. What stops people from changing is fear… anytime you overcome fear, strong emotions can be evoked… jubilation is quite common! 🙂

  5. “The power of motion is awesome and essential.” So true! 👌
