stroll @ Andorra the old and the modern… 🙂 Andorra la Vella (in Catalan) is the capital of the Principality of Andorra and a popular ski resort, located in the Catalan Pyrenees, between France and Spain, on the banks of Gran Valira river. Being at an elevation of 1,410m, it’s the highest capital city in Europe, with about 20,000 inhabitants. The majority of the national institutions and services, including the Government are in Andorra la Vella. Salvador Dali who was a proud Catalan offered a “noble watch” to the city! 🙂

  1. When we were in Carcassonne year before last, we talked about trying to get to Andorra, but ran out of time. Amazing modern buildings for a small city. Thanks for taking us where we didn’t get to go.

  3. Thanks for taking us into your world, Melanie. I’m right there with you.
    Hugs, Leslie

  4. What an interesting contrast of old and new… both beautiful.

  5. My daughter, Nikki, likes Dali.
