Let’s stay “local”! – until next trip away..:-)

Le Sidobre is a mountainous, quaint, granitic area whose altitude varies between 400 and 707 meters; it’s situated 1h 1/2-drive from Toulouse, in the Tarn county and it spreads over 102 km2 – nearly 5,000 hectares – covered with forests. This is the largest “spot” of granite rocks in France where one can hike all day long… 🙂

N.B. The etymology of “Sidobre” is controversial: it may come from the Latin “sin opere” = uncultivated region, or from the Gaulish “seto briga” – “seto” means mountain and “briga” – high fortress.

Have a fine weekend and see you asap, pals! 🙂
