mon cœur – un îlot entre 2 océans…💓

October’s mild sun – le doux soleil d’octobre
draws a footbridge – trace une passerelle
between earth and sky – entre la terre et le ciel…
we become those we miss – on devient ceux qui nous manquent
a lively canvas of love – une toile animée d’amour
mirroring our emotions – reflétant nos émotions…
half of me is right here – une moitié de moi est ici
the other one is far away – l’autre est bien loin
an islet between 2 oceans – un îlot entre 2 océans…

Indian summer’s king – roi de l’été indien
with dazzling colors – aux couleurs flamboyantes
dear to my heart – chères à mon cœur…
daydreaming, hoping – rêver les yeux ouverts, espérer
thru the daily routine – à travers la routine quotidienne
overwhelmed by the present – submergé par le présent…

I wish you all:“May you fall in love with October
and all the beauty it brings,
may your life be as colorful
as the turning of the leaves!”(Charmaine J. Forde)

  5. We had some wind this morning and when I looked out it was raining golden leaves. Lovely. A delightful memory is a friend telling of her two year old grandchild in a play pen outside. The wind came and as it “rained” beautiful leaves all around him, he shouted with glee and applauded.

  6. It is a lovely time of year, but unfortunately, I’m not so happy about what is to follow… Have a wonderful weekend Melanie! Leslie xoxo

  7. Très joli texte, Mélanie! Bonne soirée, Mo
