4 sika deer among a few shades of Hokkaido green…:-)

the northern wind cuddles the stems and the leaves with its volcanic softness… it changes its itinerary like a skillful, brave, faithful sailor that knows its destination… it tears up masks and chases away evil, wipes fear and cowardice, pain and sadness… it carries our dreams on its strong wings beyond all expectations… 4 sika deer – graceful and sweet Bambis welcome me by the bank of their creek – I did notice their true generosity of heart within their eyes… 🙂

N.B. Shiretoko Peninsula(brown bear land) – Eastern Hokkaido is one of Japan’s most beautiful and unspoiled national parks. No roads lead further than about 3/4 up the peninsula, and the northern peak can only be viewed from boats or can be reached after several trekking hours. Shiretoko is home to a variety of wildlife: brown bears, sika deer and foxes. In winter, the peninsula’s coast along the Sea of Okhotsk becomes one of the Northern hemisphere’s Southernmost regions to see drift ice. UNESCO world’s heritage site since 2005 for the irreplaceable value of its ecosystem and biodiversity.

”I thought to pick the flower of forgetting for myself, but I found it already growing in your heart… Fear and joy enter our hearts, but LOVE alone fills it up whilst our dreams are the power of all miracles.”(Ono-no Komachi)
