I loved Venice, but had to wonder how the laundry ever gets dry in places that are shaded by the buildings and over water!
Creative idea to take a collection of laundry drying photos. It is one of the prominent scenes reminding us that there are real everyday people doing everyday things in this city of dreams.

Da. M-a amuzat și pe mine în Italia rufăria la vedere. Culmea e că m-am mutat aici în To într-o zonă cu mulți italieni, portughezi, greci, foarte atipică pentru Canada. Am descoperit în grădină un fel de dispozitiv. Eu am crezut că e ceva antenă veche, dar e exact ce ai arătat tu în imagini, o chestie de întins rufe. Cumpărând casa în februarie nu am realizat ce e. Dar cum a început căldura toate grădinile din jur au început să înflorească de rufărie apretată. O fi sănătos să le bată aerul, dar eu prefer uscătorul. Mai practic, rapid și… intim. 🙂
am avut uscator de rufe doar în cei 5 ani la Houston, Texas, însa aici am gradina(front & back yard!) + garaj – cu laundry room… 🙂
Eu am uscător în laundry pe care-l folosesc, pentru că îmi salvează timp. Aș putea să le pun la întins în grădină când e timp frumos, sau în laundry. Dar prefer comoditatea uscătorului. Plus că, dacă le scot fierbinți nu trebuie să le calc (majoritatea). Și urăsc să calc. 🙂

Hadn’t heard the proverb, but in any case, you could produce a coffee-table book of photos of outdoor laundry just by travelling through Italy! 🙂
I often wonder with you on the go 24 hours a day 365 days a year… how you do your laundry. 😉
I’d love to travel all year long, but… it’s impossible, you know! oh, we usually travel to places where we can do and dry our laundry! 🙂
They do make paper underwear. 🙂
